I have created more budgets that I didn’t stick to than I can think of. Year after year, I started off creating a monthly budget, only to become frustrated when it just didn’t work!
A bill I wasn’t expecting would pop up, I didn’t know how to save, get out of debt, and pay bills all at the same time!
Did I have a lack of income problem or a spending problem?

Light Bulb Moment
I was sitting in my Dad’s accounting office watching him create Annual Budgets for companies and something clicked. If corporations mapped out their annual goals, income, and expenses, WHY am I sitting here doing a monthly plan?
I should be creating Annual Goals & Budgets too!
G-A-M-E-C-H-A-N-G-E-R!!!
After I started to do annual budgets, I was able to identify :
- Where I was wasting money,
- Where I was wasting money,
- Better plan for bills that were due quarterly - annually,
- And so much more!
Mapping out my annual budget helped me to avoid many frustrations, decreased the continuous swiping of my credit cards, and dips into my savings account.
It also helped me to realize what habits I needed to change and that I needed to make a heck of a lot more money in order to live the lifestyle I desired.
This was motivating as heck!
I was able to set SMART goals, create vision boards, and actually ‘see’ how I could uplevel my money, my credit, AND my lifestyle!
