When you have been denied credit, insurance or employment based on the information found on your credit report, you should receive a “notice of adverse action”. This will detail which credit bureau they used and the steps to take to get a free copy of the report used in making their decision.
It's no secret that I LOVE the credit reports that come directly from the bureaus. Their data is always on point and much more detailed than any credit monitoring report you'll receive.
